Job Responsibilities:

As a key member of our Estate Planning team, you'll be the approachable and sharp-minded professional our clients trust and rely on. Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Crafting tailored estate plans, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.

  • Consulting with clients in “Plain English", skillfully understanding their needs and helping them choose the level of protection that is right for their family.  

  • Collaborating with paralegals and support staff to ensure A+ service is delivered to every client.

  • Designing and drafting meticulously detailed estate plans to address every aspect of a client's wishes and financial needs.

  • Overseeing and directing paralegals to run high volumes of estate administration files.  

  • Roll up your sleeves to provide outstanding customer service - because in our firm, every client is a VIP.

  • Participating in networking events and occasionally leading seminars or webinars.

Qualifications:

We're on the lookout for a candidate who brings:

  • Licensure in North AND South Carolina 

  • 3-5 years of experience in Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, and Estate Administration.

  • Excellent at connecting with people and getting them excited about what we do, ensuring clients feel confident and eager to work with us.

  • The ability to learn and use different software tools relevant to the estate planning field. These could include legal document generation software, research tools, or client management systems.

Location:

You will work at both our Charlotte and Fort Mill offices, splitting your time between the two locations. You will also be asked to attend meetings, training sessions, or firm events at either office. In addition, you will be actively involved in networking groups and be expected to participate in seminars and community events. Please note that this may occasionally include evening or weekend commitments.
