Simpson Law Firm is excited to announce we are hiring a full-time Estate Administration/Probate Paralegal! We are seeking an individual who enjoys working in a positive, fast-paced environment who can prioritize and reprioritize as needed, who enjoys a challenge, loves learning new things, is an excellent writer, extremely detail-oriented and organized. We are a rapidly growing Estate and Elder Law firm, and we are seeking an individual with at least 2-3 years of experience with North and/or South Carolina Probate matters who is looking to grow with us! Your role will include overseeing the probate files in the office, drafting and ensuring timely filing of documents, coordinating with the probate court and our clients.

Job Responsibilities
Oversee probate files and ensure timely filing of documents.
Coordinate with probate courts and clients.
Draft and proofread accurate legal documents.
Interact with clients to obtain comprehensive information for estate administration/probate.
Managing client accounts from initiation to closure.
Utilize and learn various software tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, Dropbox, Trello, Clio, Lawmatics, and Interactive Legal.
Spot typos and grammatical errors, ensuring document excellence.
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in Probate/Estate Administration matters.
High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with legal case management software such as Clio, Lawmatics, and Trello preferred.
Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.

Location:
We have offices in Fort Mill and Charlotte (Ballantyne area). Your specific office location will be determined based on department needs.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $22.00 - $28.00, based on experience and skills.
Benefits: Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays are available upon hire. Health Insurance and 401(k) will be introduced in early 2025.
